A firepit is a great addition to any outdoor space, whether taking the nip out of a summer evening – or huddling around with hot chocolate in the fall.

This firepit from CB2 is modern and reasonably priced at $249. Some reviewers on the CB2 site – which now seem to have disappeared – say it rusted quickly. For me that’s not a problem, but if you want something to stay pristine black you might want to look into other options such as covering it when not in use. You could also pay for a more expensive – and hideously curlicued wrought iron monstrosity. The choice is yours!
